Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers by phone, internet, email or in person, working closely with the Service Center sales staff to ensure outstanding service.

You will learn product capabilities, develop customer relationships, handle orders, quotations, and product questions, and negotiate pricing with customers and suppliers. A high school diploma or GED is required; 3+ years counter/inside sales in electrical distribution is preferred.

• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Flexible and adaptable to change.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years counter or inside sales in electrical distribution preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical tools, supplies and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand product capabilities, features, and Summit's warranties.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships by offering Summit solutions.
• Assist customers with orders, quotations, and product questions.
• Negotiate profitable pricing with customers and suppliers.
• Follow up on orders and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support counter and warehouse teams as needed.
