Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC seeks a customer-centric leader to head the Customer Solutions team in Windsor, CT. You will drive service improvements, strengthen customer relationships, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver reliable, transparent support.

You will guide coaching, training, and process standardization while translating customer feedback into measurable actions that boost satisfaction and renewal rates. This role requires a proven track record in regulated environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in leadership and customer-facing roles, preferably in aerospace or regulated industries.
  • Strong customer focus with proven requirement-to-action translation.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and clear reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a high-performing Customer Solutions team to deliver reliable, transparent service and outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely, proactive communication and strong issue resolution—from first contact through closure.
  • Standardize best practices across reporting, performance reviews, and QBRs.
  • Build and execute training and development plans that grow skills and career paths for every team member.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and elevate the customer experience.
  • Be the voice of the customer, translating feedback into internal action and customer-facing results.
  • Lead crisis management when delivery or quality issues arise with clear, timely updates.
  • Partner with Sales on quotes and renewals—pricing inputs, profitability, and models.
  • Use customer insights to uncover opportunities driving year-over-year growth and retention.

What you’ll do

  • Lead escape/crisis management when delivery or quality issues arise—keeping stakeholders aligned with clear, timely updates.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development on quotes and renewals—pricing inputs, profitability, capability analysis, and business models.
  • Use customer insight and relationships to uncover opportunities that drive year-over-year growth and retention.
What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in leadership and customer-facing work (management, sales, operations, quality, or customer service)—ideally in aerospace or another highly regulated industry.
  • Strong customer focus with a track record of translating requirements into consistent execution.
  • Comfort with shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and clear reporting in a dynamic environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills—especially Excel and PowerPoint.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
