Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer (Solutioning) to help design, scope, estimate, and ready service opportunities for CSE. Working with Sales, Delivery, Product SMEs, and PMO, you’ll develop estimates, SOWs, service descriptions, and delivery approaches to support successful outcomes.

The role requires gathering requirements from multiple stakeholders, identifying risks and dependencies, and producing structured recommendations for senior Solutioning resources.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project management or professional services.
• Experience in service delivery, operations, or sales engineering.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience creating SOWs and service descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Support development of service estimates, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and pricing models.
• Assist in creation and review of Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, service descriptions, and other customer-facing solution documentation.
• Gather, analyze, and organize business, technical, and operational requirements from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in customer discovery calls and requirements discussions.
• Identify information gaps, areas requiring additional discovery, and potential scope or delivery risks.
• Develop structured solution recommendations for review and refinement by senior Solutioning resources.
• Partner with Sales, Delivery, Product Management, PMO, Support, and Subject Matter Experts to develop quality service solutions.
