Job description

Nokia of America Corporation,Customer Solutions Architect (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • Perform customer requirement gathering and solution design (High and Low Level) for projects that require the implementation of Nokia Products from Service Assurance and Orchestration domain.
  • Support Cloud and Infra dimensioning, and perform deployment verification and validation.
  • Respond to questions, concerns and open points from a customer solution view, and provide clarification and troubleshooting.
  • Identify new requirements from customers, through project implementation or ad-hoc customer interactions.
  • Support the implementation of Nokia Assurance and Orchestration solutions (NAC, UIV, NORC) by improving customer business solutions, and guiding project team on Software Best Practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Create Epics, review user stories, define and review acceptance criteria.
  • Support project managers in reviewing project schedule, issues, risks, and action plans. #LI-DNI

Domestic travel up to 25% required.

International travel up to 10% required.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 60%.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience, of which 5 years are post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience. Employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following:

  • Orchestration and service fulfillment, including project implementation, customer operation and solution deployment;
  • Virtualization stack, including Kubernetes and hypervisor.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:

  • Requirement gathering and solution design in HLD and LLD documentation;
  • Application and Storage containerization;
  • Monitoring tools including, Grafana, BELK/Kibana, and Prometheus.
