Job summary

US Tool Group in Livonia, MI is seeking a Customer Site Operations Manager to oversee on-site operations at a major automotive facility. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring safety, and driving performance while managing customer relations.

Salary range is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually. The position includes benefits and requires strong communication, ERP, and purchasing system experience. On-site work with regular meetings and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with purchasing and ERP systems.
• Inventory management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with and managing cross-functional teams.
• Technical knowledge of cutting tools and MRO products.
• Demonstrated experience driving results and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations.
• Address customer concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure employees are properly trained and working safely.
• Extensive interaction with staff (scheduling, problem solving, evaluating performance).
• Interact with receiving personnel regarding incoming deliveries.
• Report issues to the USTG Account Manager.
• Interact with customer and suppliers regarding project management.
• Participate in Cost Savings Program.
• Assist with developing quotes as needed.
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings with customer.
• Other duties assigned.
• 80% Walking/Standing.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.

Founded in 1958, we are the largest cutting tool reconditioning firm in North America. This position will be based on-site at one of our major automotive manufacturing customers' facilities. Openings are currently available in Livonia, MI.

• Experience interacting with and presenting to high-level customer contacts
