Job summary

Temporary Professional Integrated Services is seeking a Cashier Associate to join our client's supermarket team for the Christmas season, with the possibility of a long-term extension. The cashier will provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout, scan items, and process payments accurately.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer and POS knowledge, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the checkout area.
• Scan and accurately register products in the system.
• Process payments in cash, debit/credit cards, and other authorized payment methods.
• Perform cash register reconciliation at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist with bagging products when necessary.
• Report incidents, cash discrepancies, or operational issues to the immediate supervisor.
• Comply with established procedures and policies for cash handling and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Scan and accurately register products in the system.
• Process payments in cash, debit/credit cards, and other authorized payment methods.

Requirements

Compensation

• $10.75 per hour.
