Job summary

Ewing Outdoor Supply in Crown Point, IN is a fourth-generation, family-owned wholesale landscape and outdoor supply company seeking dependable team members for our operations team. This role blends customer service, warehouse tasks, local deliveries, and sales support; no prior industry experience required as world-class training is provided.

Pay is $18–$20 per hour DOE. Must lift 50–70 pounds, have a valid driver’s license, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Customer service experience or aptitude preferred but not required; on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Go the extra mile to engage customers
• Greet and direct customers
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Coordinate with your team to provide excellent customer service
• Provide accurate information on products, pricing and after‑sales services
• Answer questions about products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Provide feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up‑to‑date with new products/services
• Customer orientation and adaptability
• Multi-task, prioritize and manage time
• Basic math skills
• Lift 50‑70 pounds
• Excellent communication and relationship-building
• Able to work in fast-paced environments
