Job summary

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking dependable, customer-focused team members to join our operations team in Illinois. The role blends customer service, warehouse operations, inventory support, local deliveries, and sales assistance, offering a dynamic, hands-on environment with world-class training.

No prior industry experience is required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. The position involves both indoor/outdoor work, physical tasks, and daily route deliveries in an Isuzu NRR 650 or

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift 50-70 pounds and operate delivery vehicle safely
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and greet them; provide product information and pricing
• Assist with inventory and warehouse tasks; stock racks and manage returns
• Deliver items to different addresses; follow routes and schedules
• Coordinate with team to ensure excellent customer service during peak times
• Inform customers about discounts, offers and new products/services
• Cross-sell products and provide feedback to Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Go the extra mile to engage customers
• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with your team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Inform customers about new products and services
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Prior Outdoor Supply Industry Experience
• Must be comfortable working most of your shift on your feet and performing repetitive physical tasks, such as stooping, squatting, and lifting items above your head.
• Must be comfortable operating and making deliveries on a daily route in an Isuzu NRR 650 or similar commercial vehicle.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Basic math skills
• Be able to lift 50-70 pounds
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
