Job summary

Loop Neighborhood Market is seeking energetic Team Members in California to support daily operations at our West Coast Convenience stations. You’ll interact with customers, handle the register, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, efficient store experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule across varied shifts.
• Strong verbal and written communication with store management.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to validate ID for tobacco/alcohol sales where required by law.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with climbing ladders as needed.
• Remain calm and assist customers during emergencies or busy periods.
• Experience working in different temperature environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the cash register during the shift and ensure balanced cash at end of shift.
• Stock shelves and keep the store clean and well-presented at all times.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to customers, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment in-store and surrounding areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash related issues as needed.
• Prepare shift reports per company guidelines.
• Cross-sell and upsell store products to increase sales.
• Escalate high-priority issues to the manager when needed.
