Job summary

Becklar, LLC is seeking a part-time alarm dispatcher to join our 24/7 monitoring team. You will process alarm signals quickly and professionally, dispatch authorities as needed, and verify the safety of subscribers during emergencies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to type 40 wpm, and a willingness to work Day/Early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided, with potential for growth and benefits.”

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be available to work Day/Early morning shifts.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
• Must pass a 2 week fully-paid training class.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations.
• Dispatch the proper authorities to subscribers' locations in emergencies, verify that help is on the way, and notify responsible parties.
• Assist our alarm company partners with alarm system tests to ensure subscriber's alarms are working properly.
• Accurately document all responses for the alarm on the computer.
• Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks.
• Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure accurate handling of alarms and growth.
