Job description

Pay Range

$15.15 - $22.65

Purpose

This position is responsible for managing the creative workflow for cashiering, handling product returns, performing basic cash office functions, and providing exceptional customer service. It also involves training and developing Customer Service Associates.

Major Responsibilities

1. Provide excellent customer service and greet customers courteously.
2. Act as a member of the store's Junior Management Team.
3. Adhere to the company's core values and safe lifting practices.
4. Supervise and guide Customer Service Associates to ensure attentive and accurate service.
5. Handle cashiering duties, including operating the POS system, processing refunds, and opening/closing registers.
6. Stock, tag merchandise, and create price tags and signage.
7. Review and assess associate performance, train, develop, and supervise staff.
8. Manage scheduling, hiring, payroll, and business planning processes.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• At least one year of supervisory experience in customer service or cashiering.
• Ability to perform in a high-volume, complex environment.
• Proven initiative and self-starting capability.
• Strong communication, delegation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to exercise discretion and adapt to change swiftly.

Working Conditions

• Frequent exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Medium work capacity, exerting 20-50 pounds occasionally, with frequent use of hands and fingers. Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and stoop as required.
