Job Description

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for store operations when a senior manager is not present. They assist with customer service, product availability, safety, shift management, and vendor care. They support store management to ensure customer satisfaction, maximize sales, and meet goals. This role may also involve managing the fuel offer.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, respond to inquiries, and solicit feedback courteously and promptly.
  • Collaborate with store management to improve sales, control expenses, merchandise, market, retain and train associates, and recommend improvements.
  • Provide guidance, motivation, and coaching to associates during shifts.
  • Ensure 24/7 execution of customer service programs and processes.
  • Follow safety, security, quality, and operational policies. Handle cash processes, deposits, lottery, gift cards, and checks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and manage orders.
  • Check in vendors and recognize associate accomplishments.
Essential Functions
  • Work effectively individually and as part of a team.
  • Communicate clearly in oral and written forms.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Build relationships and demonstrate leadership.
  • Stay detail-oriented and organized.
  • Use de-escalation and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Make decisions proactively as a self-starter.
  • Learn and operate store technology.
  • Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, reaching, grasping, lifting (up to 35 lbs), and other movements throughout shifts.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Availability to work 35–40 hours weekly, including weekends and holidays.
  • Experience in implementing change and achieving results.
  • Leadership experience, preferably in retail or food service.
  • Experience in store operations, sales, expense management, and team development.
  • Strong customer service, relationship building, and communication skills.
