Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist with questions, process sales at the register, and help keep the store organized and stocked.

You will contribute to a safe, clean, and friendly environment while supporting team members and leaders. This role involves light physical duties and a focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
