Job summary

Heart of Texas Goodwill Store is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist with daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, maintain merchandise presentation, and support general upkeep in line with HOT Goodwill's mission and values.

The role involves greeting customers, guiding item searches, helping with dressing rooms, and maintaining a clean environment. It requires reliable teamwork, ability to follow instructions, and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read the English language preferred.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Ability to create and maintain working relationships within a collaborative team environment.
• Customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and personalities.
• Proficiency in completing assignments independently and on time.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers upon encounter and assists them in finding items and/or answering questions.
• Monitors and opens dressing rooms and restrooms, as needed.
• Cleans areas of the store, including restrooms.
• Removes out-of-date items from display areas, including pulling wares and clothing.
• Maintains display areas, including special displays, racks, shelves, bins, and other areas displaying merchandise for sale.
• Puts merchandise, including wares and clothing, out on the sales floor.
• Hangs clothing in production, when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
