The role involves handling cash, balancing registers, assisting with donations, merchandising, and providing positive customer interactions throughout varied hours. Flexibility and reliability are essential for successful daily operations.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write.
• Ability to accurately operate and balance cash register.
• Ability to operate POS and scanner equipment.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop and lift items.
• Willing to work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and greet customers.
• Complete sales transactions including discounts and tax exemptions.
• Support mission programs via round-up scripting.
• Maintain cash drawer, balance daily sales.
• Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, and display.
• Assist in merchandising, housekeeping and floor moves.
• Assist with receiving and replenishing merchandise.
• Adhere to policies, signage, pricing and loss prevention.
• Process donations.
• Communicate positively with coworkers and customers.
