Aon is seeking a Customer Service Specialist II to join our Fort Washington, PA hybrid team. You will handle inbound calls and emails, support a healthcare model office, and assist with endorsements, certificates, and payments while delivering excellent service to insureds.

The role requires strong customer service experience in insurance, plus communication and multitasking skills. You will work with brokers, carriers and internal teams to resolve issues and provide coverage information.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service in insurance/financial services.
• Underwriting experience preferred.
• Professional and courteous phone skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound client calls and emails; support programs for CRNA's, Physician Assistants, Nurse Midwives, Medical Directors and Concierge Medicine.
• Process day-to-day client service tasks: endorsements, certificates, binders, payments, cancellations and related tasks.
• Provide excellent service to insureds and act as information source for coverage to customers, brokers, carriers and internal teams.

Aon is looking for a Customer Service Specialist II!

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Aon Affinity Healthcare Model Office in Fort Washington, PA.

This is a hybrid position, working out of our Fort Washington, PA office twice a week.

What the day will look like:

• The Model Office position takes inbound client calls, email correspondence,while providing operational support for emerging programs including CRNA's, Physician Assistants, Nurse Midwives, Medical Directors, and Concierge Medicine
• Complete a variety of day-to-day client service work including working with brokers, policy endorsements, certificates, binders, payments, cancellations, or other necessary tasks as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to our insureds
• Interact with customers, brokers, insurance carrier, and internal sources providing information about coverage

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance or financial services industry
• Underwriting experience preferred
• Professional and courteous telephone skills
• Self-starter with attention to detail and quality
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrated skills and abilities to be goal-oriented and solve complex issues
• Possess excellent written communication skills for customer correspondence
• Demonstrated ability in handling details and key follow-up capability
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• P&C license preferred, or to obtained within 6 months of hire
• Experience with AS400 or Wintam (Applied) preferred

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $53,500 to $58,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
