Job summary

Aon Affinity Healthcare Model Office in Fort Washington, PA, is hiring a Customer Service Specialist II. This hybrid role requires handling inbound calls and emails, assisting brokers and insured clients, and supporting programs for healthcare professionals.

The person will interact with carriers and internal teams to explain coverage. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance customer service, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Underwriting experience preferred.
• Professional and courteous telephone skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Strong written communication for customer correspondence.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Take inbound client calls and email correspondence, supporting emerging programs including CRNAs, Physician Assistants, Nurse Midwives, Medical Directors, and Concierge Medicine.
• Complete day-to-day client service tasks with brokers, endorsements, certificates, binders, payments, and cancellations as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to insureds.
• Interact with customers, brokers, carriers, and internal teams to explain coverage.

This is a hybrid position, working out of our Fort Washington, PA office twice a week.

What The Day Will Look Like

• The Model Office position takes inbound client calls, email correspondence, while providing operational support for emerging programs including CRNA's, Physician Assistants, Nurse Midwives, Medical Directors, and Concierge Medicine
• Complete a variety of day-to-day client service work including working with brokers, policy endorsements, certificates, binders, payments, cancellations, or other necessary tasks as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to our insureds
• Interact with customers, brokers, insurance carrier, and internal sources providing information about coverage

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance or financial services industry

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• P&C license preferred, or to obtained within 6 months of hire
• Experience with AS400 or Wintam (Applied) preferred

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $53,500 to $58,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
