Job summary

PLS, located at 29 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, seeks a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our stores. You will deliver superior service, educate customers on products, and ensure transactions comply with applicable regulations. Responsibilities include cash handling, balance maintenance, and using the POS system.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in hospitality, financial services, retail or restaurant is preferred.
• Able to engage with customers and offer products/services based on their needs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service to ensure repeat business.
• Educating customers on our products and services.
• Ensuring all transactions are completed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Following company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Completing all transactions accurately, including cash handling.
• Using our point-of-sale system to access information and process transactions.
• Resolving customer complaints or referring complaints to the Store Manager for resolution.
• Helping to maintain a neat and clean store environment for our customers and team members.
• Performing other duties as instructed by management.
