Rio Grande Electric Cooperative, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented service clerk to support customer accounts, balance cash, and process service orders. You will train CSRs and handle daily clerical tasks in a busy office environment.

The role requires strong data entry, English communication, and familiarity with RGEC tariffs. Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus; notary public status is desirable.

Competenze

• Experience in customer service.
• Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of clerical tasks.
• Knowledge of RGEC Tariff, policies and procedures.
• Capable of becoming notary public.
• Excellent data entry and typing skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Mansioni

• Train CSRs and provide ongoing support.
• Process new accounts and service orders; prepare correspondence and filings.
• Handle payments, daily cash balancing, and deposits.
• Review outages, inspections, invoices, and vendor documents.
• Enter and reconcile linemen timesheets and related charges.
• Provide office support and answer calls and visitor inquiries.
