Job summary

NewCo Capital Group is seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Collections Specialist to manage customer accounts, inquiries, and collections activities in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with underwriting on payment plans, handling legal steps for defaults, and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and data accuracy. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in collections or similar role.
• Experience with account management and payoff letters.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer communications via calls and emails.
• Set up payment plans and modify agreements with underwriting.
• Process balance statements, payoff letters, and UCC terminations.
• Coordinate bounced payments and follow up by email/phone.
• Initiate legal actions for default accounts, including summons.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service and Collections Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, addressing inquiries, and handling collections activities. Your efforts will ensure the smooth operation of our financial services and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer communications through various channels, including inbound calls and emails.
• Handle account management tasks such as balance statement requests, payoff letters, payment plan setups, and UCC terminations.
• Coordinate and follow up on bounced payments, ensuring timely resolution through emails and phone calls.
• Work closely with underwriting to set up payment plans and modify existing agreements as needed.
• Process legal actions for default accounts, including transferring cases to attorneys, signing off on summons and complaints, and notarizing affidavits.
