Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to welcome clients and support daily operations in person and by phone.
You will handle scheduling, clerical tasks, and financial duties including co-pay collection, deposits, and petty cash, while ensuring a friendly, efficient client experience. A high school diploma or associate degree and bilingual skills are advantageous; typing speed of 27 WPM is required. Must pass required assessments.
Pay: $16.32/hr. | Non-Exempt

As a Customer Service Specialist, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient experience for every client. You'll serve as the first point of contact-supporting clients in person and by phone while ensuring smooth daily operations within the center.
Greet and assist clients, answering questions and directing them to appropriate services
Provide administrative and clerical support (scheduling, correspondence, filing, mail, etc.)
Manage financial tasks including co-pay collection, deposits, and petty cash
Support departmental operations and contribute to overall program success
Associate's degree (preferred) with clerical/reception or billing experience
OR
High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of office/clerical experience (including public interaction; healthcare preferred)
Bilingual skills a plus
Must type 27 WPM and pass required assessments
