Job Responsibilities
  1. Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
  2. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
  3. Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
  4. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
  5. Answer questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store.
  6. Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the departments and respond to questions and make suggestions about products.
  7. Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
  8. Ensure customer returns and exchanges are handled to satisfy customers while complying with company policies and procedures.
  9. Communicate new and ongoing special programs and promotions to customers.
  10. Handle funds, coupons, tenders, etc., according to company policy.
  11. Maintain awareness of inventory/stocking conditions and report discrepancies.
  12. Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
  13. Follow established policies and procedures for various store services and transactions.
  14. Observe scheduled shift operating hours and answer store telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  15. Ensure all store controls, safety procedures, and legal requirements are followed.
  16. Report safety risks, illegal activity, and accidents to management.
  17. Perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math (e.g., counting, addition, and subtraction)
