Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Property Manager to work independently across multiple locations, welcoming customers and assessing storage needs while recommending packing and moving supplies. This role involves daily unit inspections, cash handling, deposits, and payment reminders to keep spaces rented and accounts current.

A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required for travel between sites. Physical work includes outdoor duties up to 50% of the time, lifting up to 35 pounds, and

Responsibilities

• Work independently at multiple locations and interact with customers to assess storage needs and suggest packing/moving supplies.
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability for rent.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Help customers stay current with payments and make reminder/collection calls when required.

• Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability helps make sure spaces are ready to rent
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits are part of the daily business
• We help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Our property managers should be able to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of their time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
• Performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks: including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintain exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris.
