Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

This role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Part-time opportunities available in Charles Town, WV.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail/hospitality preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
