Job summary

K&G Petroleum/S&S Fuels in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Customer Service Representative to ensure safety, profitability and top-notch customer service. The role is hourly, non-exempt and reports to Store Manager for maintenance and operation of the store.

Responsibilities include cash handling, POS operations, inventory, cleaning, and providing courteous, service-oriented support to customers; with potential for full-time or part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Experience in retail sales and customer service (preferred).
• Work as scheduled and arrive on time.
• Communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• Perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary, courteous customer service and handle complaints quickly and tactfully.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to drive sales while maintaining rapport.
• Process all sales on the cash register properly and accurately; handle cash and other forms of payment; follow cash handling procedures.
• Operate the POS (cash register) and other equipment as outlined.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness inside and out; upkeep of equipment.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and shift closeouts.
• Work with minimal supervision and may require irregular hours.
• Notify management of dishonesty and follow company policies for confronting shoplifters.
• Comply with all policies and governmental regulations.
• Complete attendance at orientations, trainings, certifications, and meetings.
