Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Augusta, GA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, responsive service throughout their shopping experience.

You will work in one of several departments, assist with merchandise, process orders, and stay flexible to meet daily store needs. The role values customer care, basic computer and retail technology skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (phones, tablets)
• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare merchandise in department per customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut and thread pipe)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
