Job summary

Par Pacific Holdings, Inc. is hiring a HELE Customer Service Associate / Convenience Store Cashier at our Kahului, HI location. You will greet customers, ring up sales on the POS, and help maintain store cleanliness and inventory.

This role offers hourly pay from $18.50 to $24.15 with a $3.00 shift differential. You will work with a team across Hawaii’s HELE stores, uphold safety policies, and provide friendly service to the local community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and legally eligible to work permanently in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales and cash handling preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Ability to work varied shifts and arrive on time.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide prompt and courteous customer service; may assist customers at the gas pump.
• Accurately ring up all sales on POS system, and comply with cash handling procedures including other payment types.
• Responsible for all cash and other forms of tender (e.g., coupons, credit card transactions).
• Comply with company policies and store procedures, including safety and environmental policies.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise; assist in maintaining proper inventory levels and shift audits.
• Participate in all safety programs and trainings; attend job-related meetings/trainings as needed.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain site cleanliness and basic upkeep of equipment.
• Identify equipment problems and report as needed.
• Work with minimal supervision and be flexible with hours and duties as assigned.
