Job summary

Security First Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with everyday banking needs, process transactions, open new accounts, and provide guidance on bank products and services.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information. Training and growth opportunities are offered in a locally owned bank with a history dating back to 1898.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial services experience preferred.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger, subsidiary, and correspondent bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Process accounts payable transactions and support related reporting activities.
• Maintain balanced financial records through account analysis, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Support cash management activities, official check settlements, and CDARS transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and provide operational support to the accounting department.
