MetalWyze in Newburgh, NY is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for the OEM Edge Metal division. You will serve as the primary contact for roofing partners, ensuring orders are handled with care, meeting production requirements and OEM tolerances.

You will read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings, enter detailed specifications into ABIS Adjutant, collaborate with procurement and production, and resolve shipping or order discrepancies with a solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and specs.
• Navigate ABIS Adjutant ERP system.
• Experience in metal fabrication, roofing, or construction.
• Detail-oriented to OEM tolerances and quality.
• Excellent communication with manufacturers, contractors, and production.

Responsabilités

• Process orders for roofing vendors per drawings and tolerances.
• Perform quantity take-offs and technical reviews from drawings.
• Input order specs into ABIS Adjutant and translate to shop-floor instructions.
• Coordinate with procurement on feasibility, materials, lead times.
• Prioritize production schedules with Operations Manager.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve shipping/order discrepancies.
• Manage inventory inquiries for coil colors/gauges.
• Resolve design conflicts to minimize scrap and delays.
• Know MetalWyze fabrication capabilities and advise on value engineering.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Metalwyze, a growing metal fabrication company based in Newburgh, NY is seeking a full-time employee to fill the position of Customer Service Representative for our OEM Edge Metal division. The applicant will act as the primary contact for our OEM roofing partners, ensuring their orders are handled with care, meeting productivity and production requirements.QUALIFICATIONSMust be able to read and interpret architectural blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.Ability to navigate digital MRP/ERP systems (experience with ABIS Adjutant is a plus).Experience in the metal fabrication, commercial roofing, or construction industry.Detail-oriented mindset to ensure strict adherence to OEM tolerances and quality standards.Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both manufacturers, contractors, and our internal production floor.Must have a can-do, customer service-first attitude.Commitment to the Company's mission and core values.MAIN JOB TASKS & REQUIREMENTSProcess fabrication orders for roofing vendors, ensuring adherence to their production drawings, tolerances, and order process.Perform quantity take-offs and technical reviews from customer-submitted drawings.Input detailed order specifications into ABIS Adjutant, translating customer requirements into accurate shop-floor instructions.Communicate with procurement teams regarding design feasibility, material selection, and lead times.Collaborate with the Operations Manager to prioritize production schedules for time-sensitive OEM projects.Serve as the first line of defense for customer inquiries, resolving issues regarding shipping damages or order discrepancies with a solutions-oriented approach.Manage inventory inquiries for specific coil colors and gauges required for custom fabrication.Resolve technical discrepancies or design conflicts prior to production to minimize scrap and delays.Maintain a deep understanding of MetalWyze’s fabrication capabilities to advise customers on value-engineering opportunities.You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.BENEFITSPaid vacation and holidays401(k) with discretionary employer matchBenefits: Medical/Dental/Vision/Life InsuranceWage Range: $28.00 - $35.00 hourly plus additional benefits.
