Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a customer service professional to manage relationships with customers and coordinate orders. You will review requirements, communicate across teams, and ensure inventories are maintained while facilitating purchases and resolving issues.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to interact with customers.
  • 2–3 years in a customer service environment; corrugated industry experience a plus.
  • Excellent organization and time management; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers by phone, email or in person to build and maintain relationships.
  • Review purchase requirements and initiate processes.
  • Communicate professionally in all forms with internal and external customers.
  • Monitor and replenish customer inventories and execute purchases.
  • Identify issues, coordinate resources and review action items.
  • Manage project data: collection, analysis, documentation, coordination.

Description
  • Interact with customers regularly by phone, email or in person to develop and maintain an excellent relationship.
  • Reviews the purchase requirements for each job; initiates the process.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
  • Monitor and replenish customer inventories to level agreed upon by the customer and execute purchases of inventory.
  • Identify issues, specify resources required, evaluate solution options, communicate requirements of team members and review open issues and action items.
  • Manage the collection, analysis, documentation and coordination of assigned projects.
  • Maintain technical competency and remain current in changes in processes and procedures.
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to promptly resolve inquires and customer complaints and review with customer service manager.
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures, including practice safe work habits.
  • Serve as a liaison to customers, sales, customer service, design and manufacturing.
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
  • Promotes a positive working environment supporting GBP's teamwork concept.
  • Assists the management team with special projects as assigned.
  • Operate customer or inventory management software systems.
  • Present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years in a Customer Service environment or related field. Experience in corrugated is a plus!
  • Superior organizational and time management skills. *
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with previous experience interfacing with customers.
  • Must be able to interact with all levels within the Company.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • High attention to detail with ability to troubleshoot to determine cause and effect of poor customer experiences.
  • Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Candidates must possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced and team-based environment.
