Farmers Insurance agency in San Diego is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Insurance (Licensed) to join our busy, in-office team. You will support clients and the agent with policy servicing, billing questions, and coverage updates while keeping systems accurate.

This full-time role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Prior insurance experience and an active license are strongly preferred, with familiarity in Guidewire and COI

Qualifications

• Active Insurance License required.
• Prior insurance experience preferred, Farmers systems a big plus.
• Familiar with Guidewire, billing and quoting tools.
• Experience with personal and commercial lines carriers.
• Strong knowledge of Acord forms, COIs, and invoices.

Responsabilités

Position: Customer Service Representative – Insurance (Licensed)

Location: San Diego, CA (In-Office)

Pay: Competitive Hourly + Bonus Opportunities (Based on Experience)

Overview: We are a busy, well-established Farmers Insurance agency looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team full-time!

This role is the backbone of our office. You’ll be supporting both our clients and the agent directly—handling day-to-day service needs, keeping policies accurate, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and being part of a tight-knit team, this is a great opportunity to step into a stable and important role.

What You’ll Do:

• Process policy changes, billing inquiries, coverage updates, and claims support
• Assist with applications, renewals, and day-to-day servicing for both personal and commercial lines
• Cross-sell additional coverages when appropriate to better support clients
• Handle requests for Certificates of Insurance (COIs) accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and update agency systems to ensure all client and policy information is current
• Support the agent with administrative and operational tasks to keep the office running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Insurance License (Required)
• Prior insurance experience strongly preferred (Farmers systems experience is a big plus)
• Familiarity with Guidewire, billing systems, and quoting tools
• Experience with personal and commercial lines carriers (e.g., CA Fair Plan, surplus lines, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Acord forms, COIs, applications, and invoices
• Comfortable using tools like Adobe, DocuSign, and standard office systems
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks throughout the day
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
