Jennifer Hickman Farmers Insurance Agency in Texas seeks an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative to manage client accounts, resolve service needs, and deliver high-quality support to policyholders.

We require an active Texas Property & Casualty license and prior insurance customer service or account management experience. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance customer service or account management.
• Active Texas Property & Casualty license required.
• Comfort servicing personal lines policies and handling multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day servicing needs for existing client accounts.
• Assist clients with policy questions, coverage updates, billing concerns, and account changes.
• Process endorsements and other policy documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Review renewals and proactively communicate with clients when action is needed.
• Handle inbound client calls and complete outbound follow-up.
• Respond to cancellation requests and assist with appropriate retention efforts.
• Process premium payments and maintain accurate account documentation.
• Maintain detailed notes and client information within agency systems.
• Identify coverage gaps or additional insurance needs and communicate opportunities to the team.
• Follow through on outstanding service items to ensure client needs are fully resolved.
• Help maintain strong client relationships and overall agency retention.

Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced insurance professional who can confidently step into a busy agency environment and manage client needs with minimal supervision. You should already be comfortable servicing personal lines policies, communicating with clients, and managing multiple requests while maintaining accuracy and strong follow-through.

An active Texas Property & Casualty license is required, along with previous insurance customer service or account management experience.

The ideal candidate will also bring:

• Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance and common policy servicing procedures.
• Experience with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, and client account requests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time-management abilities.
• Confidence handling a high volume of inbound and outbound client communication.
• Comfort working with CRM or agency management systems.
• A proactive approach to follow-up, problem-solving, and client retention.
• A professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
