Job description

Join to apply for the Customer Service Representative I role at CorVel Corporation.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for addressing client and/or provider inquiries via email, fax, telephonic, or written correspondence, ensuring adherence to contractual and state guidelines as well as client instructions.

This is a remote position. Candidates must reside locally to Phoenix, AZ.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  1. Answer phone calls, return phone calls
  2. Answer emails from clients, providers, and internal referring offices
  3. Review previous history of the provider in MedCheck, Scheck, and SalesCloud
  4. Consult with Supervisor or other departments to clarify answers to inquiries
  5. Contact provider to discuss findings at the appropriate level
  6. Maintain reports and spreadsheets as needed
  7. Require punctual and consistent attendance
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications
  • Medical terminology and coding knowledge
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience working in the Managed Care and Benefit Administration industries
Pay Range

CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay, with salary ranges depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Pay ranges are subject to change.

Pay Range: $13.63 - $21.00 per hour
