Job summary

IU Health's Sleep Lab Scheduling team in Muncie is seeking a patient-focused scheduling clerk to handle sleep study appointments and inquiries. You will respond to calls and emails, coordinate with the Fishers/Muncie labs, and maintain accurate electronic charts for our patients. The role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with training at the Muncie office and on-site duties. Strong medical terminology knowledge and typing speed are preferred to support efficient patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical coding preferred.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• Ability to type 30+ words per minute.
• Requires working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound patient calls.
• Execute outbound patient calls.
• Assigned a sleep lab to liaison.
• Create electronic patient charts.
• Patient packet emails/req mail Sleep lab liaison.
