Customer Service Representative - Electrical Supply Bloomington, IN

What will I be doing as a Customer Service Representative?

1. Provide Customer Service Excellence: Exceeding customer expectations and the commitments that we have made.
2. Becoming the "go-to" for customer needs, challenges, and requests
3. Putting a smile on the face of our customers as you partner with the outside sales team to keep them satisfied
4. Joining forces with vendors to make sure products are delivered on time, every time
5. Championing corporate marketing initiatives, such as training events and product launches.
6. Taking advantage of the opportunity to build deeply satisfying relationships internally and externally.

Essential Areas of Customer Service

• Counter Sales (Front of Store)
• Inside Sales
• Warehousing
• Supporting and Partnering with Outside Sales and Marketing and Communications
• Vendor Relations - Incoming and outgoing calls

Candidate Criteria

• College coursework and/or 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Quick learner, willing to apply ongoing learning
• Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid Driver's License

Preference given to candidates with business-to-business sales experience and Electrical Supply and Distribution knowledge!

Physical Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Lifting to 50 lbs.
• Answering Multi-Line Phone Systems
• Managing/Taking Inventory
• Unloading Shipments (semi)
• Loading Customer Vehicles
• Fork-lift experience preferred

Schedule

• 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday
• Overtime as needed
