National Car Rental at Hilton Head Island Airport is hiring a Customer Experience Representative to greet customers, explain rental terms, and arrange vehicles.

This role offers a schedule Wednesday-Sunday, 9:00am-6:00pm, with benefits including paid time off, insurance, 401(k) with matching, and rental car discounts. Must be 18+, authorized to work in the United States, and have a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Minimum of 1 year prior customer service/retail experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
• Provide superior, efficient customer service by explaining rental terms and options and offering protection products, upgrades, and fuel options.
• Offer directions and local area information and other service information to customers.
• Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, and general questions; provide information and resolutions.
• Assist with callback management and other assigned calls; support vehicle return inspections and maintenance notifications.

This Customer Service Representative provides superior, friendly, and efficient transactions and offering company approved services and products to provide a positive experience for all customers. This position also facilitates the rental process through verification and documentation of all necessary driver information to provide for an efficient and timely rental and return experience. This position is located at the Hilton Head Island Airport (HHI): 120 Beach City Road Hilton Head, SC 29926. This position pays up to $23.96 / hour ($18.20 / hour plus monthly bonus opportunities) based on performance. In a year you can make up to $49,800.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
• Provide superior, efficient customer service by understanding and communicating rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services which includes offering optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipment
• Offer additional customer assistance by offering directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information
• Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and other vendors
• Place outgoing calls for callback management, and miscellaneous calls as assigned
• Assist to assess condition of rental upon return
• Notify Management of any known customer problems
• Notify Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance
• Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursue on the job training and development opportunities and any company sponsored classroom training
