Job Summary

Answer telephone calls, interview customers, and record information into the computer system. Perform duties such as:

• Adding new patients into the system
• Attaching faxes and electronic prescriptions to patient profiles
• Data entry of prescriptions
• Communicating with physicians and patients regarding accounts
• Monitoring emails and web forms
• Ensuring accurate and timely dispensing and shipping of prescriptions
• Tracking and following up on orders
• Creating faxes to request medication
• Validating and adding prescribers
• Contacting patients or prescribers to verify information
• Payment collection

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Pharmacy Tech License
• High school diploma or GED
• At least one year of related experience or training
• Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to interpret documents and perform basic math operations
• Enthusiastic, professional, and self-motivated
