Job summary

Handi Medical Supply, Inc. is seeking a Product Specialist to join our call center team. In this role you will engage customers and referral sources, guiding orders for products and services in a fast-paced environment, while delivering a friendly and informative experience.

You will respond via phone, email, chat and online orders, using product and insurance resources to answer questions about availability, pricing and shipping. A healthcare background and strong computer skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly via phone, email, chat and online orders.
• Experience with home medical equipment or healthcare products a plus.
• Basic computer skills and typing speed of around 35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers and referral sources through their orders for products and services.
• Provide world-class customer experiences via phone, email, chat and online orders.
• Utilize product and insurance resources when responding to inquiries.
• Provide knowledgeable answers about products, pricing and availability.
• Advise customers on shipping and order status.

$22 - $24 / hour

As a Product Specialist, you will enrich lives by:

• Guiding customers and referral sources through their order for products/services in a fast paced environment
• Providing world class customer experiences via phone, email, chat and online orders
• Utilizing product and insurance resources when responding to inquiries
• Providing knowledgeable answers to questions about products, services, pricing and availability
• Advising customers on their requests on shipping and order status

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Related experience in customer service preferred
• Home medical equipment or supplies, wellness and/or healthcare experience a plus
• General computer knowledge and ability to type 35 wpm
