Job summary

Los Angeles Ads is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support customers, carriers, drivers and warehouse staff in a professional and timely manner.

The role involves coordinating inbound/outbound shipping, maintaining accurate databases, generating reports, handling inquiries and ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide service functions for customers, carriers, drivers and employees of the warehouse facility in a professional and timely fashion.
• Ensure safe working conditions in office and adherence to OSHA regulations
• Ensure workspace and office conditions maintain clean, professional appearance
• Maintain databases to ensure accurate customer, vendor information is entered and current- Build computerized distribution lists
• Create customer inventory activity reports
• Create and distribute daily warehouse reports of material to ship
• Receive product into inventory, monitor inventory, report inventory levels to customers
• Assess customer needs, answer incoming calls and address complaints
• Schedule all inbound and outbound truck and rail activities within the system(s)
• Schedule and confirm appointments as needed
• Verify and confirm pick up and/or delivery of customer product
• Dispatch orders, provide paperwork and instructions to drivers, and vendors
• Customer invoicing
• EDI/ ASN transmissions and tracking
• Coordinate and communicate with warehouse employees, other departments and divisions
• Record incidents, accidents, service failures, claims
• Participate in cross training and continuing education functions as needed to stay informed with company and industry trends, or as requested by management
• Participate in meetings and on committees as requested
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AND PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED
• Must pass an E-Verify, Drug Screen and 7-year background check!
