Job summary

Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative in St. Charles, IL, to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will respond to inquiries, process orders, and resolve issues while delivering accurate product information.

The role emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Salary ranges are $50,000–$65,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics NAV) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong phone etiquette.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Experience processing digitally printed labels, cartons, or flexible packaging a plus.
• Direct experience working with customers who purchase pouches, laminated films, or extruded films a plus.
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to identify process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer production orders, returns, and exchanges.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Handle billing questions and process customer payments as needed.
• Coordinate with warehouse, pre-press, and production teams to ensure order accuracy and on-time shipments.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear, proactive, and professional communication.
• Manage backorders and out-of-stock items and provide timely updates to customers.
• Monitor and follow up on order status.
• Track orders, packing slips, and related documentation.
• Prepare daily bill of ladings, shipment labels, and billing documents.
• Work with transportation providers to schedule customer pickups and deliveries.
• Address customer concerns or complaints efficiently, diplomatically, and with deep product knowledge.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry developments.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and American Institute of Baking (AIB) requirements.

Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our fast‑paced manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in customer service, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

The CSR plays a key role in ensuring an outstanding customer experience by responding to inquiries, processing production orders, resolving issues, and providing accurate information about products and services.

Key Responsibilities

Education & Experience Requirements

Starting salary is $50,000–$65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
