Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Indiana. The role focuses on accurate quotations, orders, and work orders while delivering prompt, courteous customer support to grow sales with current and past customers and prospect new business.

The position requires 2+ years of post-secondary education; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Base pay is $20–$25/hour with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction product sales is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders accurately into Oracle and manage data entry tasks.
• Coordinate scheduling and deliveries for multiple plants.
• Provide product knowledge and customer support.
• Handle claims, account reconciliation, and transactions.
• Communicate with internal teams promptly.
• Answer inbound calls to assist customer needs.
• Liaise between manufacturing and customers.
• Learn designated product lines and support Outside Sales.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Representative is to facilitate quality and accurate Quotations, Purchase Orders, and Work Orders to ensure customer expectations are exceeded as well as prompt, courteous and professional responses to customer requests. The Customer Service Representative tasked with maintaining and growing the level of sales from current active and past non-active customers, and is able and willing to prospect new business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data entry and accuracy being measured for orders into Oracle
• Scheduling/delivery coordinating for multiple plant sites
• Product knowledge, answering questions for customer support
• Responsible for claims & account reconciliation and transactions
• Responsible for timely communication back to appropriate function
• Accepting inbound calls to assist with basic customer needs
• Liaison for manufacturing and customer
• Learning designated commercial/industrial product line
• Quotingto assistOutside Sales

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills:

• Must have high math aptitude to calculate Sq Footage,to assist customers when ordering
• Must have ability to multi-task, with high level of organization skills
• Must have the ability to learn, comprehend, and apply training as well as use best judgement for case-by-case scenarios
• Ability to make proactive decisions based on customer needs
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Projectmanagement and negotiationskills
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required
• Ability to read building drawings

Education/AdditionalInformation:

• Minimum 2-year post-secondary education required;Bachelor'sdegree ispreferred
• 2+ years of construction products salesexperienceplus, but not required
• Bilingual is a plus but not required
• Previous roofing experience is a plus

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $20-$25/hour+ medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

(Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
