Job summary

Clark Personnel is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a growing and dynamic team in Saraland, AL. The role is full-time and contract, with a pay of $15.50/hour and a schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with overtime as needed.

The position requires excellent professional communication, a minimum of 35 WPM typing, strong math skills, and solid problem-solving abilities. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service preferred.
• Typing speed at least 35 WPM.
• Strong math skills for basic calculations and percentages.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Professional verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Take orders via phone, fax, mail, and email and enter order samples
• Answer phone calls and follow up with customers regarding their orders as needed
• Check stock for current, dropped, and promotional products
• Monitor orders and ensure shipping occurs within 24-48 hours
• Respond promptly to inquiries, verify accounts, and handle and resolve customer issues
• Convert measurements and pricing
• Provide pricing and delivery information to customers
• Expedite or cancel orders as needed
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
• Other duties as assigned or needed
