Job summary

Mondi Group in Salt Lake City is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage assigned customer accounts through the full order fulfillment lifecycle. You will act as the primary liaison between customers, sales, production scheduling, supply chain, graphics, and logistics to ensure accurate execution and proactive communication.

Responsibilities include processing orders in SAP, coordinating scheduling, tracking progress, invoicing, and maintaining customer files.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• ERP/SAP experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

The Role

The Customer Service Representative supports the Salt Lake City manufacturing facility by managing assigned customer accounts throughout the full order fulfillment lifecycle. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, sales, production scheduling, supply chain, graphics, and logistics to ensure accurate execution, proactive communication, and exceptional service.

Your Mission

Order Management & Execution

• Process and review incoming customer orders for accuracy and completeness
• Enter orders into ERP/database systems (SAP experience preferred)
• Coordinate production scheduling requests and follow through on execution
• Track orders through the manufacturing process to ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate finished goods releases and shipping documentation
• Prepare and coordinate billing documentation and customer invoicing

Customer & Sales Collaboration

• Serve as primary contact for assigned customer accounts
• Proactively communicate order status, schedule changes, and inventory levels
• Research and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Partner with Sales and Operations to align production capabilities with customer commitments
• Ensure pricing tables, contracts, and agreements are accurately applied

Artwork & Inventory Coordination

• Review and coordinate incoming artwork and graphics with internal teams
• Support finished goods inventory planning and reduction of excess/aged inventory
• Prepare and analyze inventory and order status reports
• Assist in managing strategic customer inventory programs

Operational Excellence

• Maintain accurate customer files and system data
• Participate in business and cross-functional meetings
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Customer Service
• Provide backup and support across the department as needed

Your Profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ERP/SAP experience, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
