Job summary

Pico Propane and Fuels is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our Roswell, NM location. You will support customers and operations by handling inquiries, coordinating service needs, and maintaining records.

You will also provide propane dispensing support at the bottle dock while upholding safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in customer service, strong communication skills, and familiarity with high-volume calls.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in high-volume phone settings preferred.

Job Summary

Pico Propane and Fuels is looking for an experienced and driven Customer Service Representative to join our team in Roswell, NM. The Customer Service Representative will support both customers and operations by proactively addressing inquiries, coordinating service needs, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure day-to-day processes run efficiently. This role also provides direct customer service and propane dispensing support at the bottle dock station. A successful Customer Service Representative is committed to service, efficiency, and safety.

Duties/Responsibilities

QualificationsEducation and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Experience in high-volume phone call settings highly preferred
• Experience in the propane industry preferred

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Service-oriented, with the ability to resolve customer grievances effectively
• Must have or be able to obtain the LP-9 Station Dispensing Certification
• Proficient with computers and able to learn software as needed
• Proficient in the current Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn additional software tools

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, using a phone, and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed to safely assist with duties around the plant and at the bottle dock station
• Must pass a pre-employment screening and background check
