Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Parsippany, NJ. This hybrid role supports the full order-to-delivery cycle, builds strong customer relationships, and coordinates with internal teams to ensure accurate quotes and on-time shipments.

You will manage inquiries, enter orders, process RMAs, review records for accuracy, and strive to meet booking and billing targets. Excellent communication, math skills, and attention to detail are essential.

• Coordinate with internal personnel to fulfill orders.
• Aim to meet booking and billing targets for assigned accounts.
• Initiate RMAs as needed and assist in the process.

Wieland is hiring a Customer Service Representative. The CSR will be responsible for providing superior customer service starting from inception of order through delivery of products. This role is located in Parsippany, NJ and will be hybrid with scheduled time onsite.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong customer relationships through courteous, honest, and trustworthy communication.
• Have a complete understanding of all products and services provided by Wieland Metal Services.
• Order entry and acknowledgment with customer. Thorough follow up before and after delivery.
• Provide quotes, terms, and pricing, as required by commercial leadership.
• Research and resolve product and/or service issues to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Thorough coordination with internal personnel to fulfill orders.
• Achieve agreed upon booking & billing targets for assigned accounts.
• Initiate RMAs as needed and assist in completing the RMA process.
• Review records for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Promptly respond to calls, emails, and correspondence

Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of basic math including unit conversion and fractions to decimals
• Time management and organization skills, and the ability to prioritize workload.

• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Sales or Business education preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Inside Sales Rep or Customer Support Specialist preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, and sales management tools and databases
• Solid understanding of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within sales and distribution.
• Metals Industry experience preferred but not required.
• Exceptional people skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
