The primary purpose of a Customer Service Clerk is to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. A Customer Service Clerk is responsible for greeting customers, assisting them as necessary, providing fast, friendly, and accurate check-out services, and handling refunds and returns. Previous experience in a customer service environment is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Observe all store rules and company policies.
2. Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.
3. Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service.
4. Observe shift operating hours as scheduled by the department manager.
5. Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policies.
7. Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
8. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
2. Prior work experience is preferred but not required.
