Job Description

The Customer Service Representative provides high-quality customer care to create positive experiences for B2B customers. The role involves managing inbound calls and emails, processing orders accurately, and working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote role with regular hours Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

  1. Validate orders promptly and accurately, understanding service expectations and customer requirements.
  2. Handle order modifications aligned with customer requests, minimizing service impact and financial risks.
  3. Respond to inquiries regarding order status, inventory, product info, discrepancies, account status, pricing, and sales programs.
  4. Address and resolve customer issues through phone, email, and fax interactions, maintaining communication standards.
  5. Collaborate effectively with departments such as Pricing, Sales, Transportation, Finance, Quality, Marketing, and Field Sales.
  6. Utilize current technology (Delivery Ware, Team-Email, Customer Websites, EDI) to respond efficiently to customer requests.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience in a service industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage high-volume work with accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.

Salary estimates range from $31K to $44K USD, with variations based on education, experience, and location. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), product discounts, flexible time off, inclusive benefits, and ERGs.
