• Notify customers of backorders, credits, and order updates.
• Liaise between the sales center and plant departments for information.
• Process paperwork required for daily sales center operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our sales center. Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Mount Hope, OH

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM M-F

Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate person, and resolve calls related to orders, quotes, and other requests
• Respond to customer inquiries about order tracking, order expediting, and product availability
• Perform order entry at the sales invoicing level and request products from supply plants
• Notify customers of potential backorders, credit issues, order availability, and other order-related updates
• Act as a liaison between the sales center and plant departments, gathering necessary information and responding appropriately
• Process paperwork required for the daily operation of the sales center
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of customer service experience; experience in the door industry is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and customers
• Working knowledge of PCs and related software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong math skills
• Willingness to learn our products and processes and to work as part of a team
