Job summary

J&B Medical in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to support patients, doctors’ offices and insurance companies. The role focuses on accurate data entry, insurance verification, and delivering compassionate service.

You will handle calls, create new accounts, maintain HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with team members. We offer paid training, health/dental/vision after 30 days, PTO and holidays after 90 days, and 401(k) benefits.

Our Customer Service Representatives are working with Patient's, Doctor's Offices and Insurance Companies to get vital Medical Supplies to the Patient's in need.

Summary

Representatives will require the ability to multi-task and utilize multiple computer applications to access and enter data in member accounts. Representatives will also be required to conduct themselves in a HIPAA compliant and ethical manner. Duties include but are not limited to: Incoming calls, new account creation, and insurance verification. Representatives will be required to communicate professionally with members, caregivers, guardians, medical professionals, and co-workers.

Essential Functions:

• 1. Handles incoming calls with members, caregivers, doctors, and other outside providers regarding members’ documentation and account needs.
• 2. Thoroughly reviews patient accounts and records to ensure timely patient service.
• 4. Communicates with Team Supports and Management team for matters that require approval or escalation.
• 5. Utilizes the Customer Service Wiki to maintain a strong knowledge base of processes, procedures, insurance guidelines, products and company information.
• 6. Make Suggestions for Process Improvements

Full time - 40 Hours per week. Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5 pm in our Mishawaka office! (At times, overtime may be required) NO late shifts, No more working on Holidays!
