Job Title: Part-Time Customer Service Representative

Position Summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and dependable Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a first point of contact for patients, families, and providers—offering exceptional support via phone, email, or in-person (depending on location). You’ll help resolve inquiries, guide individuals through systems and processes, and ensure every interaction reflects HCA’s commitment to compassionate care and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to patient and provider inquiries via phone, email, or in-person in a timely, professional manner
  • Provide accurate information regarding appointments, services, billing, and insurance
  • Assist patients with navigating HCA Healthcare systems and processes
  • Document all interactions in appropriate systems and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility services, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure a positive and supportive customer experience in every interaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or call center environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Comfortable working with technology and navigating multiple systems
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
